Swartwitpens jagters / hunters are CHASA affiliated and shooting on a SABS accredited 300m rifle range on the East Rand 50km from Johannesburg. We have facilities for rifle, handgun, pistol, revolver and black powder shooting. We can provide dedicated hunter status through CHASA.
Swartwitpens Jagtersvereniging is one of the associations affiliated to CHASA. (Confederation of Hunters Associations of South Africa). Our vision and mission is also in line with that of CHASA:
Because of our affiliation to CHASA we are also accredited by the SA Police Services with the designated powers to allocate Dedicated Hunters status to our members.
- CHASA gives guidance in the representation of hunters with the aim to secure the freedom to hunt.
- CHASA promotes sustainable ethical hunting through leadership and the co-ordination of activities of member associations.
